Kents Hill Girls' Soccer wins 2008 NEPSAC Class D Championship

11/17/2008
How many goals does it take to win a Class D NEPSAC Championship?
According to Bianca Bogda and the rest of the Kents Hill team, just one. Kents Hill defeated Hamden Hall in the championship game Sunday by the score of 1-0.
Chelsea Carrier took a corner kick halfway through the first half that was headed just wide of the goal by Emily Trembley. Hamden Hall attempted to clear the ball and it ended up at the feet of Bianca Bogda, who settled the ball and then rocketed it past the Hamden Hall keeper into the upper left corner. This goal would stand as the decider in this close game. Hamden appeared to control a majority of the game, getting their own set of chances. But between a strong Kents Hill defense and Maryke Moreau standing on end in net for the Huskies, Hamden was never able to put one into the net.
