Following a stellar career at Belmont Hill and Princeton, Michael Condon '09 made the team this year as goalie for the Montreal Canadiens.

Condon had a spectacular career on the Hill and as a senior had a 2.23 goals-against average and had a .934 save percentage playing some of the toughest high school teams in the country. That year he was named ISL Most Valuable Player, and a member of the All-ISL and All-New England teams, a Boston Globe All-Scholastic honor and his team’s Most Valuable Player. Junior year Condon finished with a 2.06 goals-against and a .931 save percentage, and was an All-ISL choice and the team’s Most Valuable Player.

"Mike is a hard worker, a student of the game and his position, and a great teammate," said former varsity hockey coach Ken Martin '65, who coached Mike at the Hill. "This is a well-deserved honor and I am very excited for Mike. He got an Ivy League education and is now playing in the NHL. We are all proud of him."
