2015 Brewster Boys’ Prep Team Wins Third Consecutive New England Championship 

The prep basketball team captured their third consecutive Class AAA Championship with a 71-62 win over rival St. Thomas More on Sunday at Endicott College. Tournament MVP Jalen Adams (Roxbury, Mass.) led another balanced Brewster attack with 21 points and 6 rebounds, while Donovan Mitchell (Greenwich, Conn.) contributed 14 points and 9 rebounds. Senior guard Justin Simon (Temecula, Calif.) played another outstanding all-around game on both ends of the floor. Simon had 13 points and 8 rebounds. Washington-bound David Crisp (Tacoma, Wash.) chipped in with 12 points, while Georgetown-signee Marcus Derrickson (Landover, Md.) rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points. Virginia-bound Jarred Reuter (Marion, Mass.) had 9 rebounds in the win.

 The Class AAA Championship is the team’s fifth New England title since 2008. The Bobcat team is now 31-1 on the season and was scheduled to play in the National Prep Championships on Tuesday at Connecticut College.
