The New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Curv Health, naming them the Official Health and Wellness Technology Partner of NEPSAC.
This innovative collaboration focuses on prioritizing the well-being of student-athletes across NEPSAC member schools. Curv Health’s cutting-edge platform will be available as an option for NEPSAC member schools to provide athletes with valuable resources and tools to optimize their health and performance. This aligns perfectly with NEPSAC’s commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all athletes to thrive.
NEPSAC President Ryan Frost shared his enthusiasm: “We are incredibly excited to welcome Curv Health as our Official Health and Wellness Technology Partner. Their dedication to athlete well-being resonates deeply with NEPSAC’s core values. By offering Curv Health’s platform as an option, we are empowering our member schools to prioritize the overall health and performance of their athletes.”
Curv Health CEO Shea Balish echoed the sentiment: “This NEPSAC partnership is deeply aligned with where our technology creates value: we help educational institutions access frontier tools and health resources for their students at a fraction of what would otherwise be a significant cost. We’re also aligned with the existing health staff at each school. In fact, we only win the school’s trust when we make the existing health and coaching staff’s life easier!”
About New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC):
NEPSAC was established in 1942 as an organization of athletic directors from accredited New England independent schools. While the Association does not function as a regulatory or oversight body (like the NCAA or state public high school associations), NEPSAC does sanction New England championship events in many sports and provides guidance in a variety of issues involving interscholastic athletics in our schools. NEPSAC consists of four District organizations, each of which operates with some autonomy in guiding the development of policies and procedures related to athletic competition within the District. About Curv Health:
Curv Health is a digital clinic that is designed to “bolt-on” to any educational institution to improve the health experience of students, and especially student athletes. First, Curv provides health services that most schools don’t have the budget to hire full-time (e.g., sport psychology, nutrition, physical therapy, athletic recruiting advisory). Curv also offers its platform to the school’s existing full-time health staff (e.g., counselors, athletic trainers) to make their lives easier, and so students can access all their health services in one place. Making it easier for students to access all health services in one place, we radically reduce the effort and general friction involved in exploring, booking, and working with the schools health services (and the new services Curv offers). With Curv, students not only use services more, but also show more benefit from the health services the school offers.
