The New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) is pleased to announce the addition of Western Reserve Academy, located in Hudson, Ohio, as an associate member starting July 1, 2025. This partnership signifies NEPSAC’s dedication to fostering diverse athletic opportunities and welcoming like-minded institutions.

As an associate member, Western Reserve Academy will actively participate in NEPSAC competitions, engaging with other schools in athletic contests. While they will not be eligible for championship events as an associate member, their involvement will significantly enhance the overall dynamic of the NEPSAC and provide valuable experiences for their student-athletes.

NEPSAC President Ryan Frost expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Western Reserve Academy to the NEPSAC community. As an associate member, they share our commitment to academic excellence and athletic development. Their participation will enrich the NEPSAC and foster a spirit of camaraderie among our member schools.”

The Western Reserve Academy community is excited to collaborate with so many of our peer schools as part of the NEPSAC conference. This partnership allows WRA to compete alongside a prestigious athletic organization that brings together schools renowned for their rich tradition of athletic achievement and dedication to academic excellence. Athletics play a vital role in the WRA experience and in the lives of our students, and this membership will provide our student-athletes opportunities for high-level competition while gaining greater visibility and access to new athletic possibilities.

This affiliation allows Western Reserve Academy student-athletes to benefit from the NEPSAC experience, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and friendly competition within the association. NEPSAC remains committed to providing opportunities for all member schools, and Western Reserve Academy’s inclusion as an associate member aligns with this overarching mission.

Effective July 1, 2025, Western Reserve Academy will become an associate member of NEPSAC, enriching the council and upholding the shared values of sportsmanship, competition, and holistic student-athlete development.
