November 27, 2023 – NEPSAC, the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council, is pleased to announce that Ridley College, located in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, will become an associate member starting July 1, 2024. This marks a significant step in NEPSAC’s commitment to providing diverse athletic opportunities, with Ridley College contributing to the vibrant tapestry of the league.

As an associate member, Ridley College will actively participate in NEPSAC competitions, engaging with other member schools in athletic contests. However, in accordance with NEPSAC guidelines, Ridley College will not partake in championship events. This distinction highlights the unique role of associate members within the NEPSAC membership.

NEPSAC President Ryan Frost expressed enthusiasm about Ridley College joining as an associate member, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Ridley College to NEPSAC. As an associate member, Ridley College will enhance our league through spirited competition and shared values. While they won’t participate in championships, their involvement in specified league competitions contributes significantly to the overall dynamic of NEPSAC.”

This affiliation allows Ridley College student-athletes to benefit from the NEPSAC experience, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and friendly competition within the association. Effective July 1, 2024, Ridley College will embark on its role as an associate member of NEPSAC, enriching the council with its presence and upholding the shared values of sportsmanship, competition, and holistic student-athlete development.
